To return to a previous topic in this thread: The people at Morgan recommended that I do not take the organ pedal because of my size 11 feet unless I really wanted to heel-and-toe. I was told that it would be too easy to inadvertently accelerate at the same time as braking. I sometimes have this problem in an ordinary car due to the fact that I have much reduced sensitivity in my right foot as the result of nerve damage in and accident (the other b..... was so drunk he could hardly stand up - me; 18 months and a hip replacement before I could walk without crutches). Following this advice I decided to stay with the standard throttle.

Well , my new lady has arrived I took her for my first drive yesterday great fun
The 1600cc has a narrow torque band but is quite spritely, will be even better when I can rev harder. Everything is tight or stiff to move at this early stage
Quality is great, so glad I got rid of that shocker of a factory standsrd steering wheel, the Mota Lita puts a smile on the face just to look at it. photos to come

Cheers

G'day mate

Congrats on the new wheels.

Since you took delivery of the car in Melbourne I guess you must be in Victoria. Whereabouts?

Funnily the factory started the build of my 4/4 a week or so early BUT delivered it to the dealer a week late. So having to wait for the 1st day of fun for
A while longer.
The bit I find annoying I,s that they did not keep the dealer informed who also did not inform me.

I am sure the wait, though frustrating, will be well worth it. Having had trips around the factory, I am always amazed that they are able to keeps tabs on any vehicle!
But then, that is one of the reasons I love Morgans.

I went for the leather Dash after all. Yes steering wheel will be changed, the car is now at the dealers.
