apologies for asking the most redundant of questions. The alternate part in the parts list for the turn signal housing on deadbeat customs is no longer available? Has anyone swapped out the melted turn signal housing lately? is there a fav aftermarket product? Is this the stock product to get? And then wrap the exhaust pipes?

I relocated mine to bottom of the headlight housing to avoid heat issues. The factory placement is just silly.

As you say, not available from deadbeatcustoms.com but try Arlen Ness as they seem to have that number. I will amend the list next update. Some owners have replaced the plastic bullet light with "mini LED motorcycle turn signal indicators" that come in a variety of sizes and colours as well as being much better clearance from the hot exhaust as they are smaller. A search on ebay should produce lots.

Have you still got the original unmodified exhaust system? It is very restrictive and causes a lot of heat build up. A "Bafflectomy" or replacement free flowing system will reduce the heat build up in the exhaust considerably and improve the running of the engine.

Thanks, Ian! The 3W front turn signals are just used for blinking turn (single filament?) and not as marker lights of dual use.

You don't need to use the marker feeds.

I ordered the Morgan plastic housing for the blinker (because I think it's still okay) and we'll try this for the time being.....
