Wrapped the exhaust, and took it out for a short ride. Wrap started to smoke so brought it home. I discovered this is a natural process of the wraps. BUT...When I turned off the engine both my front indicator lights were on....? They eventually went out. At first I thought, maybe I left the key on turned halfway (so steering wheel isn't locked and I can push the care in garage). Do these indicators stay on in parking mode when you shut car down? Is this a short? Theories?

The indicators shouldn't stay on when the ignition is turned off. I would suggest you monitor things and check that you don't start to get any strange indicator related faults. The Turn Signal Module Morgan p/n E340064 is prone to breaking down and causing faults such as the engine running on when turned off and hazard lights flashing when not selected. There is a new "hardened" version being produced, details on this forum if you search for it. It sounds like it should be a far more reliable module but maybe not available just yet.

Okay, I will research it, thanks Ian.

Pick up this conversation below? I wonder if the old battery is the trigger of the gremlins or if the melting of the wires in the turn signal itself shorts something?

The Mark 2 version has gone out for road-testing. Unfortunately the post took 6 days to send it so we missed a long weekend to do some testing.
The new version has been designed to accept spikes of up to 100V so should not fail, touch wood.

My indicators have started to show signs of grief from the heat. My exhaust has been wrapped and now it's nude. Looking for some metal LED indicators over the winter to come.

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

LED's are solid state lamps and are more prone to heat failure than a standard filament lamp.
