Looking at the front suspension area, it appears that the area between the upper wishbones is a cast aluminium piece. This would be in keeping with the CX theme. Does this mean that the rear suspension arm will be a cast aluminium one sided unit making removal of the rear wheel so much easier?

Are you implying that no wrinkly people drive the outgoing model? oldgit

Surely being lower makes it worse for wrinklies? wink
Then again being wider will surely help. And being a 4 stroke engine they may *shock* *horror* end up with an automatic 3 wheeler :o

Well I was thinking more of them getting their leg over the cockpit side to be honest and I don't imagine many exit very swiftly either, several young people struggle getting in and out of my long door, mostly due to depleted abdominal muscles I imagine.

Automatic three wheeler - wash your mouth out... wink but if that "enables" just one yearning customer it will be a really good step forward thumbs

That wouldn't even surprise me.
In the case of four-wheelers, a few years ago for Morgan enthusiasts, Morgans with automatic transmission, air conditioning and power steering would have been completely unthinkable ...

Likewise. I wish them luck, but I don’t get it. For me the M3W was about the retro character with the raw v-twin out front and sidepipes, like the original Aero. This is more sanitised and as Morgan say, will appeal to a wider market. But will they buy it or opt to spend a bit more on a more useable Plus 4? I certainly would.

A shame they couldnt see their way clear to a shaft drive Guzzi V twin powered option, or even a BMW boxer shaft driven , might have satisfied all parties with no whine. Still I think the new one will look OK with a trad waterfall grille, but that ground clearance ??

If MMC is true to its word, the current 3W pays homage to the past and the next one breaks the mold. I'd like to find a reason to own both.
But given the factory-ignored issues of the current genre, I'll be in no hurry.
