Thought I'd canvas opinions on leaving the car in the Hotel car park overnight with the Tonneau cover on rather than the hood up and leaving sidescreens in the rack or taking them into Hotel room.

About to start our 1st proper Morgan tour tomorrow, ie driving and staying at different hotels each night. The weather forecast has improved and it would be nice to have the top down and sides off without the hassle removing the Tonneau each night and putting it back on in the morning.

I put the hood and sides on each night of my week long tour, not for security but to keep the dew off the interior. What tonneau and hood type do you have?

I regularly leave mine overnight in hotel carparks with just the tonneau cover on. Not talking high end places either - Premier Inns and Travelodges mostly! Have also left her overnight in a car park if the gaff doesn't have carparking or has a ridiculous charge for onsite parking.

If I think the area is a bit dodgy, I'll put a steering wheel lock on (I have cut one down a bit so it fits under the seat).

My sidescreens store inside the car (in the gap behind the rear seats), but I'd probably store them in the car rather than on the rack.

Over the last three years never had any issues, or even evidence of tampering.

Tonneau plus all over cover worked for us for years.

Hood is Easy Up and Tonneau is a full one that attaches over the hood at the back

Leave everything off - secure against the unpredictable climate with a storm cover, securely fastened - eg John Taylor (no connection).

I used the storm cover too most nights when away from home.

Use a car cover. I often use the smaller one that covers the cockpit only. It is handy, too, when parking in a carpark. Be careful of displaying the parking ticket though ! I have a small clip ion the bottom inside of the screen to hold the ticket and hook the front of the cover up to make it visible. I take a photo of it in place. You could use a tax disc holder. Beware the over zealous private parking barstewards.

Tonneau and storm cover for me.

If there's rain in the air, I always use a storm cover if parking overnight outside. If it does rain, it's a lot easier to fold up a wet storm cover than it is to wrestle with a wet tonneau cover or hood.
