Howdy all - I'm a new member from Minnesota. We don't have a Morgan yet, but we're big fans of the brand. We're just back from doing one of the driving experiences from the Factory - 4 days driving around Wales in a Plus Four, touring the factory, staying at some amazing hotels. Attached is a photo of my wife with "our" Morgan from the week. The experience has cemented our desire to get a new Plus Four, if they're ever able to import them into the states. We saw some hints at the factory that they're actively working on that, so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Other cars we own or have owned include Alfas (71 and 79 spider, 2015 4C), Lotus (Elise), and various Fiats and Minis. So, we're well accustomed to living with "quirky" cars smile

We spent 10 days in Wales and England (Dartmoor) and didn’t see a drop of rain. We must be blessed!

Sounds like you would be ideal owners of a Morgan (of any type)

You say you are used to quirkiness , well Morgans have that in spades , and then some. It is part of the reason that we love them so much.

Having said that some are more liveable with than others.

If you are ever on the West Coast then go to Morgans West in LA run by Dennis Glavis , or Isis Imports near SF run by Tcherek Kamstra (daughter of the founder) They will both have a selection of pre-owned cars for you to try. However I guess that Chicago is probably closer , so try Norb Bries at Northshore Sportscars.

Welcome to TM Colin, reading your post and noting your names perhaps you will be visiting Scotland...(-: Very lucky with the weather for sure.. I hope your Morgan acquisition works out as you might hope, but my guess is that there are Morgans enough to be found in the US from those in need of restoration to garage queens, so perhaps no need to wait till the Plus 4 is available in your part of the world..

Hope the weather is kind for the rest of your trip.
