My new Pins have arrived (thank you again Paul).
What is the recommended way of enlarging the holes to fit? I have read about a 7mm reamer? Can I just bang the reamer down, or will I need to drill them out a bit first? I think they're about 6.5mm at the moment.

I’ve bought an adjustable reamer that covers 7mm. I think one half of the hinge needs to be tight and the other half a bit slacker.

Never used a reamer, do they have a very slight taper at the end to start them off?
Thinking I drill out to about 6.75mm and then pass the 7mm reamer down the hole?

If it's a hand reamer then yes it's tapered for the first 15 to 20 mm. A hand reamer is one that has a square on the blunt end so that it can be turned (clockwise) with a tap wrench. 6.75 or 6.8mm should be fine for the drill. Use some oil on the reamer to help with the cutting.
