Absolutely right ‘tricky dicky’ , I didn’t expect so many responses. However I did go through the leaded/unleaded issue some years ago, it was interesting 😬

Yes Malachy that was a serious changeover and cost me a new engine in my Orion due to non availability in the Hebrides of the real thing. Mind it was on 110,000 miles at the time and four years old. I’m not in the least bit concerned about this one as we have good history in other countries to learn from 😊

Just noticed my latest bottle of Castrol Valvemaster (which I use as a lead replacement) now says it combats the effects of E5 and E10
Edit. It's not suitable for cars with a catalytic converter
