Hamilton is not particularly a favourite of mine, but Max’s attitude just to walk away without even checking on a fellow driver in my book stinks.

Agreed, I noticed that walkaway he did too..
Karma will be paying him a visit shortly I reckon.. The three grid place penalty at Sochi will give him something to think about for his arrogance.

I though they both looked shocked by the outcome, a chicane would be the safest place to stand your ground, relatively low speed, no fixed structures, even if you collide, there’s a good chance you’ll get away with it or at worst, only the car suffers.
Pre Halo era, Hamilton would have been killed in that accident, even with it, you can see it compress in the slo-mo, thank goodness for the safety. Max walking away wasn’t a good look, but better than ranting and raging in the moment.

I agree with all the above.

They know the risk of flipping if rotating wheels touch like that so it shows a high degree of bloody-mindedness on the part of both drivers.
Hamilton's comment about the way the same problem was avoided on lap 1 by taking to the run off should have been front and centre in their minds.
I never liked the halo but I did understand the reasons and thank god it was there or that could have been a different issue and one which would have been horrible.
The calmer manner of Christian Horner in the interview suggests he took the drubbing over there pervious excitement seriously which is good to see.

On a lighter note.
Congratulations to McLaren who have been threatening to break through all season. A 1-2 is an amazing result for nearly any team but that was earnt.
Ferrari seemed to have more speed which was good to see.
Daniels comments in Italian during the interview got a good response from the crowd which was nice.
It is developing into a grudge match of Senna/Prost proportions which did not benefit the racing, teams or sport in truth. Just the PR engine.
A very mature drive by Lando as well. I guess he is a bit pissed by not being able to race Daniel to the end but that will pay off come contract or move time. A team player.

Lets hope they take the edge off and focus on racing with good intent moving forwards.

Same as Alstair, even I thought it was a bad show that Max walked right past "The Gangsta" without even looking to see if he was hurt or even conscious but perhaps he needed time to cool off prior to speaking to him. Great to see McLaren back to winning ways even if there was a bit of well deserved luck involved, but I didn't fancy Lando's sloppy seconds of champagne out of the Honey Monsters shoe!!! The Barolo went back into the rack but Ferraris effort did warrant a nice bottle of Pillastro to help the pizza down. We now have a couple of weeks to recover and see what happens next time, bring it on.

Once the two children had dropped out it was a great race. Who was to blame? Max 70%, Lewis 30% in my view.
The Stewards didn't include the "possible consequences" in their determination of blame, so it is right that Max was penalised:- in my view not enough; he should have been made to start Sochi from the back of the grid.
But the main cause was the "sausage kerb" hat launched Max's car into the air, they need to go and soon, from all tight corners.
