Last Wednesday in glorious sunshine I enjoyed an 90 mile run out to Lavenham and Clare for a licky and pub lunch. This morning I washed the car and was out to the supermarket after, just 12 miles. Mainly to dry out the engine compartment and tray between the 8 cylinders.

North coast 500 - 1647 miles. Absolutely incredible countryside. Almost all with roof off

Guten, we need proof... Some pics of the scenery as a backdrop to your Morgan would be nice, or perhaps even one of a flat haggis that you inadvertantly ran over...? (-:

Last week we had our 1st proper Touring Holiday (ie staying in a different Hotel each night along the route). We followed the Pennine Way (as far as possible) by road, and ended with a few days in Northumberland. The weather was very kind to us on the whole and we didn't have the top up/sides on until we arrived in Northumberland.
The route was based upon an MSCC Scenic Tour that is available on their website, it would have taken much more planning otherwise.
The pics Show us at the start in Edale, a few (of the very many) pics of Pennine Way Signs where it crosses the road and the end in Kirk Yeltholm.

I have just returned from a short trip to a farm in the wine growing area.
Herewith I can confirm that 5 cartons of 6x0,75 bottles of wine do fit in the passengers footwell.

Epic trip, roofless is a must to fully appreciate the scenery, any particular favourite spots?

Shieldaig was lovely and the scenery from the start of the pass to Applecross all the way up to Kinlochbervie was just unbelievably dramatic. Across the north coast not so much. East coast Dunrobin castle and Dornoch were lovely and Inverness is a beautiful city. The main down side was feeding those voracious little midges, they loved me even with “jungle juice” on, never bothered my wife at all.
Incidentally that’s not me in the kilt 😳
