I've 'repaired' the damage with Duct tape (about my level). The good news is, there is a whole role of it for when the screws rub through the tape. I'll probably get a couple of inches of tape on there before I address the actual problem.

Stormsure do repair kits with flexible glue (poo to a blanket stuff). If you got some of that you could glue a second skin on to protect the side light area.

With Autumn approaching I want to buy a good/practical/durable indoor cover for the Roadster. I have a fleece-lined synthetic fibre cover for my other garaged car, a Fiat Spider, which has no sharp corners or pokey-up bits. And in the past, on another car I have used a cover made from multi-layer non-woven fabric (like the photos, a bit like heavy-duty J-cloths). They have elasticated ends, but the fabric being non-stretchy, they have the advantage of not springing back just as you get to the last corner. So what's the best recommendation for say a sub-£110 cover ?

Indoor covers are a smidge over £110. Very impressed with quality of mine (far far better than the morganhoods one I had previously).

My nominal £110 budget is that's what the Richbrook ones cost; good but they are very stretchy.

One feature I like is the door zips - I can pop into the cockpit without having to remove the whole cover.

I know that feeling: escape to the garage, smell the leather, and dream of next Summer......

Quality product, fits well (including with the luggage rack in place), good value (around half my original budget), so I'm happy with my purchase.

I suggest cutting-off the annoying and unnecessary dangly retaining straps. These covers are BIG and hard to photograph -- the fit is more duvet-cover than pantyhose, so growing an extra pair of arms is recommended. And I'm planning to attach a sew-on Morgan logo to the end I start with (in my case the rear), to avoid chasing the edges to find the starting point.

In the end I added an iron-on (but in my case, "Evo-stuck") logo to the front of the cover. I could feel where the badge on the cowl is, and that ensured it is centralised on the cover.

Following the last few days of absolute hoolies. I'm pleased to say my cover has remained fastened throughout and kept the worse of the weather off my Mog.

It is waterproof and has three straps that go underneath and an additional elastic storm strap that goes round the entire car. Most days I only use the centre under strap, but have had all four on since Thursday.

Very impressed.
