As for frustrations with marketing, I am no different a grumpy old man from many, though in reality it does seem that there is so much available and free (ish) at the point of delivery, that for other than the financial backing of the advertising industry would be pay per view, or just not exist... Arty films included...?

Well I found this on a page yesterday and if there is anything about the modern world that clearly leaves me distant it is this. Lewis went to the length of booking a full table at the MET GALA award ceremony and invited a number of (apologies if this is not the correct turn of phrase) black fashion designers to make it fun. Perhaps I am missing it from my aged white dodo viewpoint. This is fun ?

My first thought when I saw this was "what a ridiculous look for an F1 driver"
But then I have to admit to admiring anyone who can make the instantaneous jump between these two very different worlds.
I wonder what Max Verstappen would think about this?

Judging by what others were wearing at the Met Gala, and considering the purpose of the whole thing, I think Lewis Hamilton was being really rather restrained.
What's the point of going to an event where the whole point is to dress provocatively in a celebration of modern fashion design and then not doing so?

I think their apparel is fairly tame for today, however the expressions they are wearing are of concern, they look totally peed off to me...

I think he looks very smart in his none gender specific outfit, the hair extensions are a work of art in themselves.
I think I shall commission an identical suit and hairpiece as I really admire them.
Matron said if I promise to take my pills without having to be put into the jacket with the straps round the back I can wear it at the inmates ball.
Better go now, they are strapping electrodes to my head again.
