Absolutely agree Richard. The sport is in good shape. Brilliant race today.

A great race, shame about the end result but you can feel for Landon, he will learn from this and go on to greater things I'm sure. It is also good that Mclaren continue to improve perhaps even better than my beloved red cars. I really do feel for Haas though, will they continue into next season?

Any thoughts about the Turkish race? My thoughts were that it was pretty ordinary apart from my Red Team especially Carlos.

I’m a fan of Alonso, he was unlucky at the first scramble but his move on Schumacher was well below his class, spoiled Schumacher best race so far.

He probably wouldn’t have made it but I’d have loved for Lewis to try the whole distance on get to the podium.

Not the most interesting track.

I enjoyed the sparing between Hamilton and the pits, if they had gone with his call and stayed out it could have been quite different.
Red Bull had pace but Ferrari and McLaren are definitely moving up and I expect it to get fruity for 3-7th place at the end of this year.
Carlos is really showing what he can do which is great to watch.
Not a good race for Williams.
Worse for Haas, they must be seriously worried.

It should Rain for at least half of every race.
My admiration for them not stuffing it in the bank/kittyliter/wall as it looked like very hard work. Was it Alonso that performed Bambi-on-Ice for a lap. Bet that was a clencher.

FF x6 was used quite a bit.

Vettel was fun to watch, though I'm sure he didn't enjoy it.

The track did seem drier a bit later. I wonder if slicks might have worked for Lewis. Probably not, but it would have been interesting if it had.

Lewis’s tyres were not true slicks. There was a danger they would blow before much longer. The carcasses were looking almost visible due to rubber loss and looked pretty close to giving a Lando scenario. Lewis pitted too late to get a real benefit of fresh tyres and lost 1/2 places as a result.
