I'm fairly sure the first vehicle I "drove" properly was a BSA Bantam D3, which my mum's father had rebuilt or repaired. I certainly remember helping change an engine anyway! First car I had a go at steering was a Fiat 500 which belonged to my grandmother. I think the first car I drove properly was a Fiat 127.
