Mine was the same. ECU is fried and will need replacing. When hooked up to the diagnostics all sorts of fault codes, running rich, running lean too high a voltage etc. The give-away that the ECU was no longer with us was the voltage readings.
Could be something else but that is what happened to mine

Mine always lights but not problem. Mine occasionally flashed on and I carried on driving. Coming back along the M6 from Birmingham it came on when I started to gun it to overtake. There was a loss of power then surged forward. It stayed on and all seemed normal. Yours could be a loose connection to the ECU though

you can have this issue with a wrong working lambda sensor

Hi
I may be a bit late but here is the way(s) that you can switch between Basic and Advanced User levels in the ProTune 2 software
SUMMARY: There are two ways to change
the user level setting of the software…
1) Using the menu bar: Select Select User
Level… from the Options menu.
2) Using the keyboard: Hold Ctrl + press G.

Resurrecting this thread to see if any current links to the diagnostic software are known as links above give page not found when followed.
Have found the cable port so just need software to try and move forward.
Hoping someone can help, thanks in advance.

You are not kidding about those cover screws! But so far still have two....
So thanks for the link, all good. My error code is p0170 front adaptive max limit. My knowledge here gets limited but I think(!) this is to do with engine knock control.
In the Morgan which cylinder is the front? Left or right?
From previous posts I wonder if in advanced mode a reset of the adaptive maps would help? Not going there unless totally confident though!
Any thoughts?
