I took my 22MY Plus Four into Krazy Horse today for its 1,000 mile service and was given their brand new (500 miles) 22MY Plus Six demo car as a loan car. What a motor. I drove an early demo car at Ledgerwood's when they first came out albeit on a very brief test drive and this new one feels very different.
First of all the seat bears no resemblance to the original which felt like you were sitting on it rather than in it. This car has the Comfort Plus seat as standard which is superb. I was very happy with the Comfort seat in my Plus Four until I tried this and now I am less happy with it but it is a £900.00 extra in the Plus Four. Having said that I might well pay the extra if I were to start again.
Driving it was a revelation. It feels like they have changed the mapping in the ECU as the auto box changes up and down much more smoothly as I remember it, certainly much more smoothly than my Plus Four. It feels much more like the box in my wife's BMW than my Plus Four. I will certainly be asking MMC if this is the case and if so what are the plans for the P4 ECU if any. BTW driving it on the paddles is an absolute joy, even better than my P4.
The brakes are also much better than the P4. The pedal travel is a lot less and the feel is much firmer. The P4 stops fine it just feels very soft to me.,
The demo car had the sports exhaust which sounds fabulous, much better than the P4 in my opinion.
Overall I still prefer the P4 especially for the looks but there again I have never been keen on the Aero Plus 8s either. Each to our own.

I thought the seats were the same with just extra airbags?

They do have two extra adjustments - the side squabs on the back and something else which I can't remember but the base is much better upholstered too.

The seats were changed in 22 following launch feedback - you now sit lower and have lumbar adjustment just like the plus four 👍
