I struggle with how any performance car finds a home in Singapore. A quick (as in short) blast from the underground garage to Raffles, at not more than the legal 50kph, must make the three that have already been sold there and three more in the system, a bit of a triumph for the importer NB Auto, and for MMC.

Yes not the ideal habitat for a Morgan or any other car full stop. Quite telling that the reviewer mentions the USB port as a feature and majors on the exclusivity of ownership, both traits that one might expect from a Singapore resident. All the while I was there on various business trips I never thought "I with I had a car". I like the colour combo and thought that it looked 'oriental', if I'm allowed to say that

It is not speed in Singapore,it is noise and wealth!

Whilst I grant you that Singapore may not be a drivers paradise, remember that the island is actually larger than the Isle of Man and does have some interesting roads outside the city.

Remember also that it has 2 road bridges across the straits to Malaysia (actually one bridge and one causeway) which opens up a very wide touring area for intrepid Morganeers.

I have driven extensively in Sabah and Sarawak (East Malaysian States) but not in the Morgan. Roads there were fine and traffic light.

And, of course, you can run the GP course albeit slowly. I guess it's like living in any big city, a Morgan gives pleasure, individuality and prestige without any great need for speed.
