It's a cropped photo of the mirror on my Roadster. I believe it's a Simmonds rod-mounted / adjustable stainless item, fitted by the original owner early in its life (so some time around 2010). You can just see the remains of the original black mount (which has so far defeated my attempts at removing it), and there's an odd little alloy mounting bracket that attaches under one of the tonneau studs. I normally drive with it in the "down" position, but slid up the rod to the top it enables me to see over any luggage that's piled-high. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/10/04/26-6-21-Interior-looking-to-dash.jpg)

Cross country to the Four Horseshoes Thornham Magna for lunch with the lads. Fuel readily available so hopefully the panic is over.

Yesterday had a loop around Woking and Guildford to have lunch with my brother, who is up from Keynsham. Just a short run south of Cambridge to find E5 for the +8. Have a 300 mile round trip starting tomorrow to Winchester and was less than a quarter full. Not enough for tomorrow's journey, never mind the return trip.

To the old RAF Bentwaters to visit the cold war museum with Angle Mog. Will post photos later. A fascinating little museum. I went a few years back. There was an American ex-Serviceman there giving a talk about what it was like as an operational station. Hugely interesting.
