Hi everyone
having trouble with my 1997 4/4 when I first take it out it runs fine, nice and smooth, but usually after about twenty miles it starts to judder and misfire and will also start to accelerate by itself which is scary when approaching a roundabout etc!! but after all that it can revert back to running as it should do, only to do it again a few miles later.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the issue?

Sounds like an air like on the inlet side. Check the hoses are in good condition & any jubilee clips tight.
