Ha Ha I have managed to put a picture in there, however, I'm not quite sure how I did it.

I think you can also add it to your signature by placing something like (img] http://blog.bradley.it/wp-content/gallery/morgan/thumbs/thumbs_img_4521.jpg[/img) in your signature. The first and last round brackets have to be replaced with square brackets.

I have now managed to get a picture in there, it's from my TM picture gallery of the car.

How can I easily put picture onto the internet so that they can be included in posts on here. I have figured out how to post photographs from my computer onto the picture forum on here, but I can't get them to include in a post.
Sorry for being thick, but this internet stuff is all rather new and complicated for me.

You need to subscribe to a photo hosting site. There are loads of free one about such as: Flickr Photobucket Imageshack etc. If you have a Google+ account you can upload there too.

Once you have uploaded your image, you can then enter into a reply by clicking the fourth button as shown here... ... and select "Insert a non-floating image". In the box that appears paste in the URL for the picture One thing to note, once a topic has been added in one of the galleries you cannot add further pictures. I don't know why, I think it is a bug. Good luck. ~iw.

Not entirely true. The author can alter their own first post (including adding photos) but if they, or anyone else, tries to add a post with inserted photos, the site will not show them if the thread is in a gallery. You are correct, it is a bug. Ian's explanation is excellent and as before, here is a topic on the site about How to Post a Photograph

Well done Ian A few captured screen images makes it much easier for a computer novice to understand. As Simon has said you can add other images within the period you are allowed to edit a post (I have done so). After that you can't. One thing you did not cover is a method of obtaining the url of the image and pasting it in the field.

Thanks, that explains my lack of success. The couple of times I tried it, the option to add more pictures was there but all that happened was the thumbnail in the "Latest Photos" section got corrupted. I must have been outside the time limit. One thing you did not cover is a method of obtaining the url of the image and pasting it in the field. I thought of that but the trouble is it varies depending on which service you use. Photobucket, for instance, just lets you click a box and it magically appears in the paste buffer. Ivanford: if you need further assistance with that please shout. ~iw
