'Princess'??? ..... is that the same as 'scary woman who allows me to share her house on sufferance' ?? 🙂

If so, she's seen the results of my mechanical handywork far too often to stand near it during its maiden fire up! 😁

Innordinately chuffed to pilot it even that far ... everything seems to work, so some fine tuning and fettling should have it spot on.

Just have to give myself a slap to finish the last little bits.

Front wings and cowl on tomorrow.

It was a brilliant blue-sky day yesterday, so we went for a drive through the Lakes. Here's one by Buttermere:

480 miles plus over the weekend to the New Forest for a joint TaffMog & SwanMog event which was great fun. The organisers Chris & Anna are to be praised in persisting through the covid delays etc to deliver such an event.
The weather was superb & we fitted in the obligatory steam train ride at Exbury gardens..

Just returned from a DonMog weekend in Llandudno. The weather was mostly kind to us and we enjoyed some lovely roads. My favourite being the Horseshoe Pass (near Llangollen) on Friday afternoon on the way there. Well worth a detour if you are in that neck of the woods.

Think we've talked about the cafe at the top of the Horseshoe pass before .... biker's hangout ... on a nice day (especially weekends) there's often some fine machinery in the large car park.

A great run out to the Victoria at Earl Soham for lunch. This is a lovely old pub, not a restored plastic pub.
The beer is brewed locally and the Victoria bitter is excellent. The local butcher provides the sausages & burgers.
It rained during the meal leading to flooded roads & spray going home. If only for a camera to capture the sunlight & spray as we roared down the lanes.
