Sorry, my op wording was imprecise ... meant that I was ready to go for a trundle once the clutch was persuaded to disengage.
It's now freed courtesy of Andrew's 'remove all cable slack' and Luddite's 'jack it up and provoke it' methods.
Have posted a short clip of it in the yard on the "Have you driven...." thread.
Many thanks for all the input.

Here we go. There's about 1/3 inch travel before clutch starts engaging Clutch pedal depressed ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/10/15/IMG_20211015_160055.md.jpg) Clutch pedal out ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/10/15/IMG_20211015_155845.md.jpg) Showing linkage ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2021/10/15/IMG_20211015_155818.md.jpg)

Excellent TBM .... lever looks to be in the same place as mine .... and now I know the movement I'm aiming for.
I'll have a juggle with the various adjustments until I find a good fit between pedal position and lever movement .... many thanks!

Sorry to contradict but if the clutch plate is stuck to the flywheel, you would not even get it into gear with the engine running. No contradiction chum, should you re-read my contribution I suggested warming the engine up first till it is running well as opposed to on the choke and fluffing about.... With it warm shut it down and jack the rear wheels clear of the deck, once well supported START IT UP IN GEAR, as the rear wheels will be free to run... and then with a bit of deft heel and toe action. throttle brake, with enough momentum built up, jumping on the brakes should break the bond between the driven plate and that which it is currently mating with and if one is adept at heel and toe the engine will not even stall.. Best to be sure that the car is not pointing at anything solid should you be overly heavy handed and cause the old thing to launch it`s self off the supports and head off into the scenery...? I think I wrote this up on GoMoG many years ago as many laid up Morgan`s were suffering and to date no one I know of has come..err... unstuck, while un sticking their clutch..?

I used to drive the 4/4 down the road at 10 mph or so, clutch depressed and punch the brake pedal hard. Neighbours probably wondered what was going on
