Initially I thought The Captain was lonely, then I thought you had managed to find the one spot in the supermarket car park where no one was parked next to you. Then I worked out it was more likely that The Captain has barked out some orders resulting in everyone else retreating Nice shot 👍 HB

Haha, cheers folks It does cut a lonely figure there :-) Its taken here https://www.muckleburgh.co.uk/When we got there there were quite a few cars dotted about, by the time we cam out it was near empty. Worth stopping off if you're going past that way. This pic was taken outside a little village shop between Cromer and Wells-on-Sea. The shop keeper chap said his dad has a Morgan. Maybe someone here ? ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/10/21/morgan-car.jpg)

We have a monthly jCars and Coffee type event locally, organised by ReFuel South West. Always worth a visit for the extraordinary range of vehicles that attend. Plenty of youngsters in highly modified street cars, some glorious supercars, lots of oldies and usually some real oddities (Austin Allegro Estate!) All age groups and all enthusiasts. Held each month and worth checking out if you’re visiting Devon. Bud 4/4 - Stanley

With a wall to wall blue sky morning following two days of 50 shades of grey sky`s, and that I am contemplating putting the Mog on SORN, now that I have acquired a sporting tin top for the occasional Winter jaunt, it seemed like a reasonable plan to fire the old thing up and head out into the Autumnal scenery as a last run before lay-up. MOT is due soon too..
Yeah well with the tonneau in place, the heater on full bung and thermals doing their best to keep out the chill, off we went, £85 worth of fuel...Jeez I have bought cars for less cash than that.. We headed out on my favourite local road, engaged in a few hops and skips as if it was a beast first let out to grass in Spring, followed by a few roars pops and bangs, also noted signs of rock salt on the road, but there seemed to be grip enough for a little bit of fun...
The sun was rather too bright and low in the sky creating lots of shadows to be wary of, and there were also a few mad cyclists out and about too, thus a bit of extra care required, but all in all one becomes very alive and aware while driving a Morgan on Mornings such as the one I was fortunate enough to enjoy today.. Next on the list, a quick run round the nuts and bolts a squirt of grease here and there, then fingers crossed for the MOT next week.

Out shopping and the long way home on a lovely sunny day. Just 22 miles perhaps one of the last trips of the year. No European trips again this year but have still managed 2400 miles around the UK. I stopped at the same place Bonesie took his photo back in June.
