See planenut's marvellous "M3W Alternative Parts List". There is a link to the thread with the latest at the top of the forum under "M3W - Owners Resource - Morgan Three Wheeler Info".

And search for threads on the bevel box. There has been much debate over the years!

Redline heavy shockproof full synthetic had a strong following given its recommended for "problem" box's.

As John hints though, nothing definitive.

Amen to the Redline. It does help. It will not be perfect as noise suppression in this car rarely is. My bevel box has screamed at me at times. It has happened on long drives on warmer days where the oil had a chance to get toasty. The bevel box is a kludge of sorts. The ultimate solution would have been a drive shaft like on Hondas, Moto Guzi and BMW. Now those would have been quiet but someone's seat would have narrowed for the driveshaft to swing around to the side of the rear tire. I've seen that in the Triking as well as Pete Larson's take on the 3 wheeler.

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

The honda gold wings also have what might be called a bevel box (on old gold wings we call it a pumpkin). Instead of turning a sprocket it has a flange that connects to the rear wheel. Inside is a beveled gear.
