The car is much better finished than the classics. The car is also much more comfortable.

I find the car more fun to drive, but that's a personal opinion. The 2.0L engine and automatic transmission are excellent.
In normal driving she does not drink more than a camel. It is very difficult to stay under the authorized speed.
If you're not careful, your driver's license won't stay in your pocket for long time.
The negative things are the lack of storage and the wind coming from behind.
The new plus four is no better or worse than a classic. It is just different.

I hope I have met your expectations.

Congratulations Gaston, a new Morgan must be a significant event in one's life

Can I add my name to the list of those welcoming you to the forum Gaston. You have far exceeded my "expectations" already.. smile

As you have been Morganeering since 2005, I suspect your new Morgan will be rather different from the first one you owned, but then as we age our motoring ideals seem likely to alter and I think Morgan through management changes may have attempted to modify their output to match the increasing age of their buyers who desire more compliant suspension, plush interior trim, auto boxes, even air conditioning..etc. etc. etc. The main thing is that a Morgan can be found that suits our personal ideals. I hope your new Morgan fits your desires of it perfectly and that you enjoy many many happy miles in it...

My first drive in my Morgan was heading north back to Scotland without hood and approximately 280 miles on mostly motorways in February of 2002, it did rain off and on, and the air was cold, and I felt on top of the world.... happy3

Indeed my ideals have changed over time. Before, I liked the archaic and practical solutions of the car. Now I like the modern solutions brought to the car without having really changed the look.I just regret not being able to repair or maintain the car in your own garage. But if you drive the new plus Quatre without the hood on the road to Scotland, you'll still feel on top of the world. happy3 The world is changing and so am I. But the fun remains the same. love

Gaston.

Welcome!

I had a 3.0L Roadster, but in 2014 changed it for a 4.8L Plus 8 Automatic. In many ways a forerunner of the new CX Chassis cars. The Aero aluminum tub, full IRS, etc.
There is little opportunity, or need, for the sort of archaic servicing of the Trads. It is a wonderful Morgan and yes, the aerodynamics mean that air arrives in the cabin from behind!
Performance is between the Plus Four and Plus Six, but it drinks fuel like a fish.... 25mpg = 9.5L/100km!!

It is an all year car, I have winter wheels and tyres, really it is a modern car disguised as a traditional Morgan and I love it.
Enjoy your CX!!

" The world is changing and so am I. But the fun remains the same." Wise words indeed Gaston. Not only can you communicate very well in English, you can also post images too Gaston, I am most impressed smile

My wife and I drove our Morgan down to LeMans for the 24hrs in 2002, and we toured a bit of Northern France while there creating many fond Morgan memories. love
