I’ve ticked all boxes black as they say a darker colour is not available yet. A man after my own heart.

A feature of the new "flapless" hood is that it leaves the sidescreen frame exposed. To my eye it looks like the door has been shut over the flap which is just awful. There is a Plus Six currently for sale at £97K ("MY22 Plus Six with the newly introduced as standard, comfort seats and latest hood design") and I agree, the hood-to-sidescreen junction looks sloppy. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/11/10/Morgan-Plus-Six-hood-to-sidescreen-seal.jpg)

I have looked at cars at 4 different dealers & the fit seems to be the same at every car within a dealership but varies massivly between dealers. To me it seems like there may be a large amount of tweaking required & some dealers do it others don't. I saw one car that was prepared ready to go out to a customer that day where the fit at the rear vertical edge of the sideescreen was so loose that you could pass a tennis ball through it & was assured that that was the way they all were.
The car shown above would benefit massively from changing the metal parts of the side screen to black & also loose the contrasting piping from the hood fabric, If its all black it looks much better.

I suspect that further changes might emerge around the side screen to hood area, but quite honestly I prefer the flaps.
But since my hood is down 95% of the time, it isn't so important how it looks up, especially from outside.
But then again, for north of £65k, which is double what I paid for my Roadster, it should have been developed maybe a bit more.

quite honestly I prefer the flaps They can also be badly handled, as in this 2018 Roadster currently for sale at £58,995. Could just be lack of care/knowledge by the photographer, but if it was my car I was selling I would take the trouble to attend to that. Hardly fills me with confidence for a dealer that doesn't correct this. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/11/10/Roadster-with-badly-closing-sidescreen-to-hood.jpg)

They can't put the hood down properly either. Pic number 10 shows a crumpled mess.
