Hi all more help please,has anybody removed the lenses on the rear valance of a late model traditional Plus 4, I have moisture inside and would like to dry them out and seal them properly.

Welcome. You might be better posting this under maintenance. Remove the spare wheel. You can then remove the bulb holder .

I was tired about the quality of the Germany „Quality“ HELLAs and made a LUCAS conversion.

I bought the original connectors and than lined them in plug & play and reversibel.

Now (if there would be some water in) I can open them easy and dry. And as a point of safety: often drivers behind me don‘t notice
the light, which shines very dark too.

For the benefit of others the integral to rear valance, Hella style fog and reversing lights are accessed from inside the rear panel after removing spare wheel. The inner part of lamp is on a bayonet so can be removed for bulb access by turning anti-clockwise about 30° as viewed from inside. There is a rubber seal which may benefit from a little vaseline on re-fitting although I've had no issues with water ingress.

Ref René's comment above, an upgrade to LED replacements will give much brighter rear lights or you can have double reverse or fog lights (loom wiring already present) as per this thread although involving a lot more work.

My 2012 reversing light half filled with water, but nothing in my 2016.

Colin, make sure the rubber boot point downwards on refitting
