A well wrapped system can look good imho and way way cheaper than ceramic coating option. Looking to fit some billet ali indicators to resolve the melting issue. Can of worms to open if I do that but guess that would make for its own thread!

I think that Paul & Rachel had this done on EVILMOG and seem to remember that they had some issues with the coating coming off. I'm not sure whether this was resolved to their satisfaction. Why not send 'Pitfield' a PM for an update.
Peter Brown has also had some issues with his ceramic coated pipes, I believe sometimes it takes a few goes to get the coating to stick properly.. I had mine titanium wrapped by Krazy Horse and they look good after 7k miles

as with any coating, it is only as good as the prep work before it is applied

Who did the ceramic coating ? I'd like to find out if someone near me does that kind of thing. Any advice ?
Should have read further in the thread. I'll check 'em out
Thanks

There are no issues with properly applied ceramic coatings. I have had many exhausts on both cars and bikes done by several companies going back to the early 90s. All have had no issues, aside from 1 which has dulled over time (almost 30 years!) No flaking/peeling/separation of any kind.

If you were to do another what brand coating would you use?

Think I’ll go for the Design Engineering Titanium wrap, and apply their white silicone coating over the top. Ill let you know how I get on.

There was some discussion earlier about the best way to apply a wrap whether to start at the head or silencer but cannot remember the outcome.
