Not sure what motor this might have but fitting the type 9 Ford 5 speed to the Kent motor was a popular mod .... mine has one (and I think so does TBM's)

1984 will have a CVH engine - XR2 most likely. 5 speed box came in around that year IIRC.

Lovely car, lovely landscape and heaps of fun Andreas  I have had good fun in my Sport on Dartmoor in the snow, I'm a lot more careful in the Plus 8 up there it has to be said, a brisk winter run out is a fabulously invigorating thing to do provided there is no salt down.
