This could go for a lot XK120Rare and interesting. Good spot M3W55...... But...there are questions about its provenance. It could end up at $200,000+ or stuck where it is. This was an odd one. Bid to $140,000 but RNM. The seller refused to answer any questions and bidder suspicion grew and grew.

I'm wondering whether to indulge myself for my 70th, which all being well, will arrive in April 2023. I'm not a compulsive car changer, nor do I aspire to greatness in my cars. But maybe to replace our Polo GTI, there isn't much around which appeals. The latest Polo GTI is auto only. Minis are attractive in some areas, but I'm not a fan of the bloated look. I was looking at the SLC on Autotrader last week, and figured out its the upgraded SLK, and comes with a manual box. Do we need another two seater? Of course not. But as I've said before, I like the "Juke Box" bling of Mercedes interiors, so I might give one a look over when the time comes. Good move Mr Wellings. I think these represent good value once you find one that has been well maintained and the electronics sorted. Stylish, affordable, and fun.... Looks as if the right sidescreen is not attached properly -- maybe just resting on / fouling the knurled knob at the front.
