Thank you all - very helpful. No sign of an electronic unit behind the steering column or of an hydraulic one in the engine bay, and the dealer that supplied the car new has no record of ordering or fitting power steering. We are checking further, but it may have been misleadingly advertised. I see some mistakes in Dealers ads for Mogs that are frankly laughable for main dealers, I assume the dreaded copy/paste often contributes Hope you get a satisfactory resolution, as it would be very rare for a 3.0 to have PAS (even the early 3.7's although in the spec, didn't get it)

It turns out that it was incorrectly advertised, so the dealer is liable. Does anyone know of a source for second hand electric or hydraulic systems for the Roadster? It would be unfair to expect a new system on a 2010 vehicle, so a decent condition used one would be acceptable.

There are some on ebay but I would be careful of that. Won't the dealer need to fit pas as they advertised it?

There are some on ebay but I would be careful of that. Won't the dealer need to fit pas as they advertised it? It was not a Morgan dealer, but I have given them that option. As they are on the other side of the country, I would prefer them to source something suitable that my people could fit as I am too incompetent to do it.

I can recommend Classic Driving Development Ltd, Warwickshire, I have their hydraulic unit on my 2009/10 V6 Roadster, absolutely fantastic upgrade, I think it’s been on my car now since 2014/15 without skipping a beat, give Alasdair a call.

The ez rep was really helpful. I have the mmc copy but based on the help he gave me even it was clear it wasn't his kit I would recommend you give him a call

Update - we have agreed with the seller that if we can find reconditioned electric or hydraulic components, they will bear the cost of supplying and fitting it. Any recommendations for sources?

I have the EZ system on my SS100. It gives just the right amount of help for parking and is unobtrusive at speed.
