Katy Price handed a suspended sentence for crashing her car whilst drunk, plus a two year ban. Which, despite the district judge describing it as the worst they've seen, takes this ban to her SIXTH driving ban..

Just how stupid do you have to be to not understand, or be so arrogant that you simply don't give a toss for the rest of us out there..? Why wasn't she given a real sentence to act as a deterrent..? I feel a rant coming on..

More positive is the investiture of Sir Lewis today, who I'm really happy to see took his mum with him for a change. What a stoic and honourable character, despite the haters.

I'm struggling to see what what sort of punishment that is when she has previous for driving whilst banned.

Sort of goes along with the million pound house, 6 foreign holidays this year, Range Rover etc all whilst being bankrupt.

She must have something on someone high up somewhere?

Yes she must. It makes a mockery of the rule of law.

It is absurd and meantime she will be back out there soon repeating it putting other innocents at risk, she is a waste of oxygen for me.

A big day for Sir Lewis and totally deserved on many fronts, it will put Sundays debacle into perspective mind you he showed his class there as well, a champion in every sense of the word.

Ms Price is, to use a pejorative description from the RAF in the 1960s, a waste of space.

She seems to me to be a sad, pathetic person with an addictive personality and a desperate need for attention.
She needs medical help, as much as pointless punishment.

She failed on both booze and drugs in that recent crash. I noted in today's press that she had breast job number 13 last week in Belgium along with some liposuction. She apparently checked herself back into hospital yesterday to have her ankles checked, broken whilst on holiday last year and causing problems. Yea right!!!!!! How has she got away with it

I assume she can afford an expensive loophole lawyer

If it was only once I would just tut and move on but with her pattern that is about as daft as it comes. They need to make an example at this point. I am guessing her son's support needs was bought into the discussion. House arrest. Surrender licence forever and clear indication of a jail sentence on any repeat attempt.

A jail sentence would seem fully justified under the circumstances .... it would appear the odd legal logic is that when she appeared in court for this in September her sentence was deferred pending some conditions ... and they are now saying that as she has abided by those conditions she somehow has an 'expectation' of not being jailed now.... the law does move in mysterious ways. Seems entirely counterproductive to effectively tie the hands of the sentencing judge because she's had some rehab etc that seems to have been minor compared to the severity of the offence. Oh, and she has to pay a couple of hundred quid in costs .... which will go along with the over seven grand in costs she already hasn't paid ... the law and justice are getting so far apart they can hardly see each other!!
