Sorry, if MMC's history is any indicator, I'll be happy to wait out the avalanche for the bugs to be identified. My 3W is a '17....patiently awaiting a '27 to add the garage.

Just to clarify.
My placing this email from Morgan West in our forum is meant to be informative rather than an advertisement for Morgan West. I figured he probably attended a dealer showing and could provide a little more insight into what’s coming.

In their defence, it does seem that MMC are spending a significant period testing the new M3W before releasing it into the wild. Let's hope this results in reliability from the off. I also hope that owner experiences from the past have been acknowledged and addressed. For instance I will be disappointed if they retain the Banner battery, Range Rover fuel pump or VDO fuel sender.

always the issue with batteries is size.... yes size does matter!
You can have three things with a battery. 1: power, especially cold cranking power; 2: the ability to cycle many times (how long it lasts); and 3: size (in a motorcycle that means smaller).
The problem is, you cannot have all three. A smaller battery that can last will not have sufficient CCA. A smaller battery that has CCA will not last. A battery that can last and have CCA will not be small.
This will change with newer technologies and as Li batteries evolve.

I think that Morgan got the best Banner battery that would fit in the available space. Unfortunately it wasn't up to the job of turning over the S&S X-Wedge after it left the showroom. They have no excuses for the fuel pump and contents system.

One hopes they are learning from the CX Plus Six/Four in developing a reliable radiator for the new water-cooled 3 wheeler....
