The new wiper blades are perfect. No noise and the rain water completely removed.

Why Morgan doesnt take those wiper blades ?

Collected my Plus Four today, fitted Librands wiper blades LIBR996 & 995 and am most disappointed. Just as bad as the ones supplied by Morgan. Anyone else disappointed?

Someone on here does a useable replacement, they'll pop up shortly I'm sure.

Librands ones look similar. Are they exactly the same ones as supplied here on TM?
I have never heard of any real disappointments since these were launched so maybe I would look at the wiper arms on the car itself. Earlier ones were known to fall off! Are they secure? Have they got bent?
It is a new Morgan after all!!

The issue of wiper arms being dislodged or of shifting on the splines appears to be that the wedge nuts on the arms don’t mesh with the splines of the spindles. I believe that replacements of the wedge nuts are available which do mesh properly and thus solve the problem - material, as flailing wipers are known to scratch the windscreen.

Cheers!

Are you trying to show the wiper arm is too easy to lift from the 'screen ?

Not me! In fact the spring in the arms as supplied is too strong. Some owners have found the wiper arms to “fight” as one arm shifts on the spindle - it causes the wiper blade to either come off the arm or Mesh with its neighbour - both result in a scratched windscreen. It’s caused by the wrong wedge nut
