A while ago, details were posted of the revival of the Sopwith name with concept drawings of three wheelers with Villiers engines. They are still around and have updated their site with prices. Sopwith three wheelers

I'd be worried about ground clearance for the prop  Being justified in crying out "Clear prop" as part of the starting sequence has a certain charm though  The three cylinder two stroke is not unique in aviation terms either. Richard Nobles ARV Super 2 built on the IOW used the same configuration 750cc Hewland AE75 engine developing 75hp. A look on Google Earth at their factory address shows one of these trikes on a trailer outside, so at least a mock up exists.
I thought that most countries had banned the sale of new 2 stroke vehicles?
