Fabulous. Once I've paid off the Morgan, I'm quite tempted by a pre WW2 British Classic. My mate John has far too many Broughs, but I don't think I'd have much luck prising one out of his grasp for a couple of quid.....

An acquaintance of mine bought a Brough Superior not too long ago for the enormous sum of € 220,000. These bikes are almost outweighed in gold these days.

An acquaintance of mine bought a Brough Superior not too long ago for the enormous sum of € 220,000. These bikes are almost outweighed in gold these days. Yep, like most things 'someone' decided they were desirable, and they then get traded like commodities rather than motorbikes. They become the 'must have' and then spend their time lanquishing in a garage. You'll be pleased to hear that most of Johns get well used and abused. He has a pretty decent engineering set up in his garage, so it something breaks he fixes or manufactures it himself.
