I'm sure the seller would be happy to put you in touch with Williams, who got to be able to give a fair assessment of the car.
Equally the seller should be willing to share the detail of the history, which looks fairly clean, doesn't it?
The only flag raised for me reading the ad is that it's said to be from an family of Morgan enthusiasts, and at this series 3 had a wider body which necessitated a third wiper on the windscreen...

The S2 provided most of those upgrades over S1
S2 bought Wider cabin for a touch of opposite lock Uprated brakes 4.4 Single VANOS 330bhp 6 speed manual Three wipers Better seals on (larger pram style) roof (ha ha)
S3 bought Laser Eye Correction with the Mini headlamps. Same running gear as S2
Even some of the later S1 had the three wipers.
The love/hate most people will have with the Beetle fronted S1 and 2 along with the rare nature of the S2 will usually form most of the "I need an S3" decision I think?
But lets face it they all go like pocket rockets or lope along depending on how you feel. Love em all.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

The only questions/comments I have from the photos:
1. The age of the 4no tyres as they appear Avon ZR3 which therefore are likely to be pretty ageing now and may need replacing soon as they just get hard with age. 2. The wheels appear to have had the chrome rim surrounds removed - unless someone here (with far more Aero knowledge than me) can confirm that not all those Aero six spoke wheels had the chrome surrounds? 3. The hood looks as though it has a few scuffs and may need a deep clean and recolour. 4. Doesn't have full bonnet louvers or side pipes, if that's your thing. 5. No comment on the number of previous owners. 6. It does have a nice plate to go with it though at DS04 ERO
Cheers, Paul

Hi guys,
This is my own car. I bought it to replace my Plus 4 GDI I had. More than happy to talk to you about it if you pm me I can send you my mobile number.
As per the advert - our family are huge enthusiasts of the brand, truly loved everything about them for years. One side of the family are from Malvern so there is that connection also.
Sorry if you felt it was strange pointing out the differences from S1 to S3. Rather than S1 to S2 to S3. To forum enthusiasts you understand the differences, to the number of newbies to the brand asking me the differences I felt it clarified it for them. Even when my S3 and my father S1 are parked next to each other you have to explain differences to people. The S2 numbers were so few I didn’t feel it would benefit to clarify just S2 to S3 changes as it’s unlikely anyone currently looking to buy would be considering one. In the years and years of searching for an Aero for my father we never even came across an S2 for sale in the UK lol. It seems those S2 owners just keep them haha.
Absolutely perfect condition through out, no scuffs on the soft top roof nor would I say it needs colouring.. It’s exactly as described. You couldn’t fault it if you came to see in person. Fellow TalkMorgan and Aero 8 owner (Emyr) AeroTaff has seen the car in person and can attest to its condition and my enthusiasm as an owner. It’s just a lovely honest car coming from a loving home.
Wheels were originally chrome, they were powder coated silver by previous owner.
Side pipes can be retro fitted - however the rear sports exhausts are to my liking
5 previous owners to myself.
Just serviced by Williams in November, more than happy to share the perfectly clean health check to interested buyers.
They didn’t comment on the age of the tyres just the rear have 3mm on them.
I’ve also got a video of the car if someone wanted to see a walk around.
Williams were more than happy to sale or return it for me but I wanted to be able to use it whilst is still for sale. However - I didn’t think so many people would want to part exchange their Morgan’s for my Aero, but they do. So in hindsight maybe sale or return would have been better. Plus I find Williams fantastic to deal with.
No one had come to view it yet but I’m guessing advertised before Christmas wasn’t the best time of year for a British sports car.
Only selling as I have a baby due in March so I’ve bought two new family cars for me and the wife - so I know the Aero won’t be used by us two this year.
My father has an S1 which he kindly says I can use myself once baby is here - hence my own Aero is for sale.
It’s not essential for me to sell - thats why I’ve taken the advert down a couple of times since I first advertised, as every time I drive it I decide to keep it.
Yet the reality check is it just won’t be used by my wife and I due to only having 2 seats.
I hope this helps clarify the car, any questions please feel free to ask.
Many thanks
Oliver
