http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/4~4%20Diagram%20for%20Morgan%20Dash%201800%20Focus.pdf

Assuming this is the correct wiring diagram and that the same fault is causing both problems: all of the instruments are fed from the same wire (green) that goes back into the loom at the top of the diagram. You'll need to trace this back to the fuse. Then test for power at every connection until you find the problem.

Are the only fuses the ones under the dash?

They vary, do you want to bring it around at the weekend and we could take a look together? (Part of my lighting circuit is in bits at present...).

Cheers,

Hi Andrew,
I'm not planning on going anywhere.
Waiting on a builder to come take a look at some work, so should be in over the weekend.

I'll PM the address / phone.

Cheers,

I've emailed New Elms, but the plot thickens a little.

No dash or sidelights (both front/rear each side) at all.
I don't know where the front auxilliary lamps are powered from, but I suspect via the sidelamp circuit.
Main beam if I remember correctly is pull on, pull off on the dip / indicator stalk - i.e. a latching relay. But main is not latching, main only comes on as headlamp flash.
I suspect either the multifunction switch has failed in sidelamp, or if fitted a relay that powers sidelamps/dash lights.

However, there is one other possibility: I don't believe "dim-dip" was fitted in 2000 but may be wrong - can anyone confirm this as they are notorious for causing problems...

BTW - lovely looking +4 Andrew!

Cheers,
