Can't remember what my '98 was like and it should be pretty much the same.
I don't know how similar the Rover engined car was to the Ford powered models...

Lights all sorted it was one of the fuses under the dash thanks to Graham for your advise and thanks to heart of England for sorting the problem

Getting at the fuses I find works wonders on the back!

Damn, I nearly got the ohmmeter on them while you were here... Would have found that - I assume it was one in the fuse box?
