I was hoping to hear that! In that case this doesn’t seem to be a reason for anyone to hold off getting in there and buying as much enjoyment as these cars deliver. Richard, another tip is that the header tank should not be filled above half (when cold) as the expansion when running hot was putting undue pressure on the system as the cap doesn't vent quite like old style rad caps Apparently this was learnt late this year when running the Plus Four race cars Hi, apologies if I have done this wrong, it's my first post as new member. I have a newish CX-MY2022 Plus Four, and have noticed on several occasions a small puddle of coolant under the radiator. Given what I have heard I begun to assume my radiator was also blown, however after completing 3k my leak seems to have stopped. Reading the above comment made sense that perhaps the system was simply overfilled and due to the new cap, putting undue pressure on hose connections. My coolant level is now below halfway when cold. However, I can also see a transparent overflow pipe emerging from below the filler cap....Surly any excess pressure would be released via that pipe as apposed to forcing coolant out of any nooks and crannies ? Or, perhaps it is that same pipe as I cant see where it exits the car....comments welcome. kind regards Paul

Just watch the level. If it is stable you are fine. MMC use standard expansion tanks but often the position in a mog means the level is lower than the marking.

The new rule is that the level should not be above 70mm to avoid overpressure . If a small amount of coolant remain in the reservoir you can add untill 70mm is reached but if the reservoir is empty nothing will go in the radiator .

Thanks - as the reservoir on the CX models is made of aluminium it's quite difficult to gauge accurately how much fluid is inside, as you can only see downwards through the opening. Perhaps I need to use a ruler as a dipstick

Mine is being fixed today…..I also added a strong plea for the dealership to try and find a solution to the front speakers. In all honesty the reaction to my request was a little underwhelming/unenthusiastic so I’m not feeling confident ….. HB

HB, I think the reason the front speaker problem exists is due to the way the bluetooth system(Mediastream) is wired in to the amplifier as when I installed the radio and wired it in to the amplifier as per the amplifiers installation instructions, the fader control of the radio produced ample sound from the front speakers! I'm afraid i am not expert enough to give you the reason or solution to the wiring of the mediastream unit -Just that the radio install has resulted in full adjust-ability of all four speakers and I now have handsfree phone, all music on my Phone through the radio and I can change the sound output from each speaker through the app on the phone which controls the radio.
Cheers!

HB I imagine for most Mog dealers audio electronics is not their primary skill so sadly not too surprised at their response HB. My supplying dealer fitted a DAB/FM Sony radio and active aerial splitter I supplied at pdi. It was always a little weak on DAB reception especially my favourite Gold channel. It was on my to-do list to investigate until magically (no pun) the reception of same suddenly improved recently in my Local. Someone must have wound up the transmitter gain
