Not since the new FCA rules on 1st January. Insurers can no longer charge existing customers more than new ones, hence the price hikes now.

There are new rules to try & treat new (discounted) customers the same as renewals, however some industry experts warned that we may all face an increase from companies to balance the disparity of previous below cost pricing to new business

Looking at what you guys pay I guess I'm maybe somewhere in the middle-ish. Just seems a lot for a car I barely drive :-(
I have 10K annual mileage allowance and agreed value plus the price I quoted is with Morgan rescue + legal expenses so maybe its not too bad !! lol.

Tarka cost me £573.21with Gott & Wynne, last July. It will be interesting to see what the cost is this year.
£600 plus wouldn't surprise me.

The policy is underwritten by ERS at Lloyds, but it is a specific one for Morgan owners. One development is that any Morgan with a market value of £70,001 and above must have a tracker.

Strange though. The wife's polo went up a fiver to 180 but eventually I found one at 167. Why have mogs shot up?

I have a quote from Gott and Wynne which I will take up.

Just emailed them for a quote

Thanks for the replies .... the cost of unlimited miles seems so reasonable I'm surprised many bother with the restriction of a stated mileage.

Oh, you lucky guys…

For season registration from March until November 690,- EURs… inclusive a breakdown insurance worth about 20,-EUR.
With a very low rate for many years accidentfree…

When I changed it surprised me how little it was to change. I was cross with myself for potentially limiting my annual mileage for such a paltry amount.
