Bit of a mix, didn't start riding until 23 though. Yamaha AS1 125 Yamaha RD250 Moto Guzzi 850 T3, later 950 LM Montesa 250 Vincent Comet Moto Guzzi SP1000 Triton 650 Moto Guzzi Lodola 175 ohc Moto Guzzi Lodola 235 Honda XT500 Moto Guzzi V75 TT BMW K100 1000 Tony Foale Moto Guzzi special 1105 Velocette Venom 500 (current) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/VWtTuaL.jpg) present bike. Some lovely bikes there, I'm a big fan of Guzzis. Back in the day I bought a T3 California from Three Cross Motorcycles and rode it 300 miles home the same day. Love the Venom too, quite understated but with a TLS brake upgrade.

Finally some paint on the frame - it feels like we've turned the corner. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/wS5ymwJ/IMG-0797-1-1500x1125.jpg)

Turning point to the really enjoyable part of assembling all the pre-prepared shiny bits and seeing the bike come alive. More pics please as it progresses. We all have regrets about bikes and cars we moved on from and wish we'd kept. The bike I wish I still had was the Comet. The exhaust valve had burnt requiring replacement and new seat. The head was blasted ready for required worked then I got distracted and it was sold on together with Triton.

We all have regrets about bikes, mainly, (and cars, a little) we moved on from and wish we'd kept.
Definitely

Definitely And similar regrets about the ones we could have afforded but didn't buy back in the day

I was building this little monster, but she had to go to help fund the Mog (and I needed the parking space). Never got to run her down the strip (or road - she was street legal). ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/03/07/Drag.md.jpg)

What a bunch of Two-Wheeled Tarts you lot are ... flitting promiscuously from bike to bike!! 😄
My list, spanning 57 years of biking:
Triumph Tiger Cub BSA C15 BSA Bantam D16 MZ TZ250 Jawa 350 1963 Triumph 500 Speed Twin 1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
The last two on the list are still in my garage after 45 years and 43 years of ownership respectively .... I just found a couple of bikes that suited me down to the ground and kept riding them 🙂
