This note is really by way of reminder. Turrino wheels were featured in a recent Classic & Sporstcar magazine. They produce bespoke and standard wires in a variety of finishes & materials. They can restore wires and can deal with Borranis.

Although I didn't get much time at the NEC, they had a stand and what caught my eye was a range of coloured wires, with a polished edge to the rim. So for example, consider black wires on a 4/4 Sport with just the edge of the rim polished. I rather hoped that the coloured rims would feature on their website, but there is only a very limited number of photos.
They are based near Peterborough.

I had a look at the stand too. The only problem is that they don't make tubeless rims and I'd not want to go back to tubes!

Dave

Thanks for mentioning our wheels. The website is well overdue for an update and we're working on it now, but if anyone would like some photos of what's possible (almost anything!) please drop us an email and we'll oblige.

My pleasure Will. If I'd had more time I would have stopped for a chat, but I was on the Morgan stand and had briefly got away to see someone on the Meguiars Concours stand. It was such a nightmare getting around with the crowds that I didn't have any more time.
Your painted wheels with polished rims looked amazing. Especially black with polised rim edge. They would make a great addition as an option to the trad Morgan range.

Oh dear Will......I'm not sure you should have told me that!!!

I looked at your stand at the Classic Car Show but missed seeing the tubeless rims...I probably should have asked but thought it would lead me to that slippery slope!

If these are 30 percent lighter than the painted steel wheels then I would really like some although I might have a job justifying three sets of wires!
