A wonderful trip over Dartmoor today and rewarded with three sightings of Mares with very young foals, one asleep whilst Mum stood guard and another suckling from it's Mum.

Fantastic life affirming stuff after the horrors that appear in our lounge on screen at present, we are so lucky to live so close to the Moor.
Snowdrops, Daffs and Primroses in abundance a lovely trip.

A run through the frosty Wienerwald this morning (Gambalunga you might remember that route) then down the kurvenreiche Strecke (curve rich section) to Tulln, across the Danube and on to the airfield at Stockerau. And it's always a good day when both machines are exercised so a flight in the Kitfox up to a strip near the Czech border, a coffee in a cosy cabin with a log fire burning, and back home. Such a good feeling after a long stretch of rubbish weather.

On Saturday I´ve got the car back from MORGANPARK, some little work and the "TÜV" (Mot) had to be done.

Gandalf passed the "TÜV" without any problems.

Today I discovered not only the invoice in the email that MORGANPARK send me on friday to inform me that the car passed the TÜV but also some photos and a short video of some work they did!

I was very astonished obout this great service - if I compare this very good service with my extremely bad experience with an other (so callled Morgan)- workshop here in northern Germany ...

About 80000km and still the first kingpins and devol bushes. thumbs

So a happy drive back to my home in cold but sunny wether. Yesterday we made a longer drive around the "Lüneburger Heide" with a stop for the first ice cream this year!

My seat feels much better with the new net/ membrane!

I went to Cars & Coffee Liverpool on Sunday which ended up being the longest drive and outing in the Morgan since the start of Covid. It was long overdue and helped remind me just how special these cars are. I was/am on the fence if it's time to try something different.

The turn out was bigger than I expected. Absolutely freezing but that didn't stop all three parking lots getting filled up. Felt nice to have been asked to enter the main parking area. The humble 4/4 held it's own to say the least, be it almost lost! smile

A nice if slightly wet run out to Southwold via the Two Magpies Cafe for coffee and a meet up with someone on here who has a new red toy.[Linked Image]
After lunch I saw this sea gull guarding Belle & fortunately Belle was free of deposits.

Surprisingly sunny and mild(ish) so took what turned out to be 40 mile round trip in Morton to Forncett steam museum. Managed to find some minor floods on narrow roads but tip toed through.

I knew it was closed but never been before and got to peer through windows. FolkMog visit there in May.
