Hello All! New Morgan owner Petrolhead near Farnham Hants/Surrey Area. Bought this last year:thrilled to add to the collection. It 'had' full history, but previous owner story, not coming through with service and background, so I'm enthusiastically investigating... In such a tight community Does anyone know this well cared for Morgan, now mine, or previous owner(s)? OM06 MOGBrands Hatch Morgan 08-2012 South Yorks Area last in 2013 Mr Driver, Yarkhill, Ledbury 2013 - 2020 seen at Trumpet Garage Ledbury Herefordshire. Looking into other details too in turn: - F-Wing Sidelight repeater blanks/plates - was Heart of England I believe, now who does them? - Any Roof or black wire/forged wheels out there...? more to follow ... Any information or contacts at all about my car or any of the details would be very welcome. Thank you and lets meet up soon! It might be worth asking the Morgan Sports Car Club people: the number plate is very distinctive and they may have it on record.

According to an online search here https://www.check-mot-history.co.uk/vehicle/om06mog, you can get some info "from" a tenner. In days gone by I used Cazana to good effect, but they seem to have disappeared. Good luck.

Speaking as a Centre Sec sadly even if MSCC knew there are GDPR rules making the release of data difficult. But they can try. Chrs, I'm not sure what you mean by black forged wheels, if you mean alloys MMC sell them but then you need to convert from wires which is expensive..

Chris, I think I recognise some features on that Mog, especially colour, upholstery & GB plate, despite the personal plate, if it's an '08 Roadster PM me, as I'm still in contact with the SY owner

It appears to be a Roadster Jon, first registered August 2008 so looks like the one although described in MOT history as Plus Four

Hey Guys! That's great response and what I hoped I might get from joining Talk Morgan. I'll PM you Richard and Jon unless I've covered this here, but I'd like to recover what provenance I can on this car:- No idea why it says on MOT a Plus 4. But I noticed that at purchase. Have to correct with DVLA I guess. More good homework If you think it's worth discussing esp as you think you know the prev S Yorks owner then that's great as he might patch in from 2013 onwards.. . and what happened next rather than me patch in backwards. In terms of Wheels: Wires. I've seen alloy wheels/forged. There are ones on the same era 6 Lightweight. I think black would really suit it, esp as it's a day trip car and maybe a tourer once every few years, I'll then put the rack and wheel back on. I'm tracking Vintage Sheet Metal for the rear wheel blank to make that nice slope at the rear really clean. A whole new set of MWS wire wheels just to get them painted black seems excessive and repetitive... so a different look like the new model Plus 6 alloys would be cool (might need some upright and hub changes ) Any other tips/advice then that's great. Such as what happened to Heart of England if they used to make the front wing sidelight repeater blanks, who might do these now? Does anyone know of a spare hardtop roof as well please..? Chris

I think John who ran Heart of England has retired a while ago….so the business may not be around any more. Turning to the Plus 4 issue, I seem to recall coming across another Roadster that was erroneously registered with the DVLA as a Plus 4 and the reason was down to how the car was originally homologated.

John Worrell who ran Heart of England is still selling some Morgan items on eBay, I have bought an interior mirror conversion & stainless steel wheel nuts from him.
