No mains gas where I live so no option other than oil. Quote is currently £1.39 per litre with a wait of around 4 weeks. Last fill was a week before Christmas at 57p per litre. No price cap on heating oil unlike gas and electricity.

Just put a quote in for 1,000Ltrs and got the message no companies can deliver that quantity in your area so amend to 501Ltrs or less, so it looks like they are limiting supplies gents. If you need some order right now I'd say.

Delivery on or before Wed 23rd Mar for 500Ltrs...
ppl (ex. VAT) 186.00
You Pay ❖ £983.48

Domestic heating fuel is going up by the day. This time last year I had 1000 litres at £0.45 /litre. I had a delivery yesterday from a local supplier at £0.95/ltr and was fortunate to get it at that price.

You did do well there compared to the crazy quote I got today I was glad I didn't need any.

UAE stepping in to help out with the oil prices.

Filled up the Jag with premium diesel last week and it cost me over €100! Today I think it would be even more, about €2,40 a litre.

Oh wait...

The US price for crude today was $30 a barrel down from $37 the lowest price for 11 years according to Alexa.

OK I know you guys are going to hate me for this but I thought you might like to know what the Australian price is.

A couple of months ago I filled up at Costco with 98 premium from memory at about $1.40 a litre. I filled up today at $1.995 then on the way home drove past a station with the prices displayed showing 98 premium at $2.495 so 50 cents more. Really how can one station charge 25% more than another station? I know to fill up at Costco you have to be a member that cost $60 a year but with that difference in price you would get the savings back just in petrol in 120 litres, about 1500km in my car, plus with membership to get to go inside and buy bulk toilet paper as well smile

As I have hardly been driving lately I am not sure when it went for about $1.40 to $2.00 but that is nearly a 50% increase.

As Richard said, at least we can get it and go somewhere, I feel so sorry for the Ukrainians having such an @rsehole for a Neighbour who thinks he owns their land as well as his..

That's frightening, even using the lowest of the above it's over £10 a gallon !!

Chris is in AU$ ? and GBP to AU$ is about 1.78 so it's a good difference.
At AU$ 2.45/L. that's £1.37/L in our local beer vouchers. Or at AU$2 it's £1.12, sick3
It would be interesting to know the ratio of actual petrol cost to tax!

Should we club together and see if we can get a bulk order from AU ? I know I need a good bit of it!
