Oh dear, oh dear, the sidepipe evangelists are out to play again. As any fule kno they are noisy, dirty things which are much better placed at the rear (and that's just the pipes...).

While, reluctantly, I have to admit to playing both sides of the field in the past (though I never inhaled) I came to realise, after much experimentation, that tail pipes are inherently more satisfying, less intrusive and far less likely to deposit their droppings on your wives and mistresses.

I do keep them around though, just in case the boy-racer in me ever resurfaces.



So why are the other tail-end Charlies so quiet in the face of such exhibitionism? Are we going to allow the upsurge of deviantism that Boshly espouses? We must counter this by joining together and defeating the dark forces that expect us to buy the first round.

It really is Jenny, it looks like the South of France but I suppose it is somewhere in the Republic.

First listing came up with "Charlie G - as all former soldiers will remember - is the affectionate name given to the 84mm Carl Gustov Anti-tank weapon. Once carried never forgotten."

And the giver, I believe, of many a black eye on firing...
