Finally got to test the old F Super today, after perhaps 6 or 7 strip / rebuilds of the 70+ year old starter motor with multiple issues, it now sports a hybrid made from bits out of two of mine and a kindly donated old spare casing. Now topped up with low E petrol at over £8 a gallon, good job the tank's tiny ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/03/10/20220304_140839_resized_1.jpg) Glad you got starter sorted Jon. Reminded of my Dad's Ford Pop, the first new car he ever bought. Starting handle was an option in cold weather to bring the E93a into life. Hopefully yours has one as well.

A nice Wed drive to the White Lion in Ufford. A pint of Wherry & fish & chips. The dust cloud from the Sahara has hit Suffolk as Belle now has red spots of sand all over. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/03/16/20220316_144417.jpg)

You were lucky. The rain is on it's way.. i got slightly damp walking nearly 2 miles to get the MiTo back from repairs (don't ask!  ). Was hoping to get all the kit (dashcam, hamradio &c.) reinstalled this afternoon but it's been continuous rain since 11:20 and looks like it will go well into tonight. Hopefully dry in the morning - lots of work still going on at Prescott, so long as I can avoid the ruddy neddy race traffic (it's Gold Cup week)  Nice pic BTW

Sounds like you have all been lucky with the weather. Drove back from the horses in the Mini half an hour ago and wouldn't want to go out in it again until the levels in the village subside a little. Some of the larger pools are 2-3" deep already and I don't think the Mini will wade more than 4-5"!

A pint of Wherry.....Belle now has red spots all over. Excellent pic John. And evidently strong ABV amber ale in your part of the world.
