The detail photos show no intrusion into the cabin, so hopefully occupants okay, looks like a glancing blow to the offside front has bent the crosshead back, but thankfully the mechanicals like engine don't look to be pushed back too far into the bulkhead to cause injury

Guess the cat B status reflects similar damage to a modern car .... might take a new chassis and crosshead .... but I reckon that's fixable for someone able to throw spanners.

As it's CAT B as I said earlier I am 95% certain it can't be rebuilt on that chassis no.

Looks like the one from the video a while back, that came flying into the back of a stopped car?

I don't have a clue what the cat letters mean and I'm sure you're absolutely correct that it can't go back on the road.... just commenting that for a Morgan that would be a fixable project for a handy home mechanic, taking into account the metal rather than the rules .... if it was a modern monocoque car then probably not!! 🙂

It's a shame it wasn't classed as the old CAT C (cost of repair exceeds value), or CAT N now. Then it could be rebuilt and put back on road

Still can be put back on the road....but would be a right pain in the arse to get insured.

Or you could buy it and give it a holiday....
