Do we have any clock / watch experts that could suggest a suitable pocket watch to replace one of the +4SS stop watches with a time clock. I will never use the stop watches, so I would like to change one to a normal clock, much more useful to me.

Ivan,
I would suggest you check online for a pocket watch, but specify in your search an openface one. Also I suggest you get one which is a quarz movement - otherwise you go to the car and the thing needs winding and is at the wrong time. I had a mechanical openface pocket watch as the dash clock in my plus4 and found it a pain if I hadn't been in the car for a day or so. I now have a quarz clock see www.chronosclocks.com/page26.htm

I still have the woodford pocket watch - if you want to try it, send me a PM

Cheers from Co Wexford!

The Heuer Rally Masters look nice. Bet they are expensive though.

I don't like the sound of POA, must be expensive.

The SS has two stop watches in an alloy mounting on top of the transmission tunnenl. I thought it would be possible to get a pocket watch the same size, fairly easily.

Try Mark Evans at the Factory, he sourced some/most? of the Plus 4SS bits.

Who is the manufacturer of the stop-watches? The first place I'd look is their range since it might be possible to get a clock in the same style as the stop-watch, thus matching it's friend.

For Rally watches talk to Hedwig Rodyns. He is a Morgan owner since the 1970's by the way.
